CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING TRAILS IN VAL DI FIEMME: LAGO DI TESERO, PASSO LAVAZÈ, MARCIALONGA TRAIL

Today we show you the main cross-country ski trails in Val di Fiemme that you must try!


The cold air condensing as you breathe, the sound of snow under your skis and the unfolding of a beautiful landscape as you glide. You make an effort, but you are rewarded with nature and a hot drink in the hut next to the slope.

These sensations can be experienced on the 150 km of cross-country ski trails of Val di Fiemme.

Val di Fiemme is known all over the world for this sport: It has hosted the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships three times and will also host the MilanoCortina2026 Winter Olympics.




Here are the main cross-country ski trails you can try!


CROSS COUNTRY SKI CENTER LAGO DI TESERO


The full route is a 3.5 km loop from which 3 other shorter routes are derived:

- Pista "Lago" 3.5 km | High difficulty - total elevation gain 140 m

- Pista "Paracara" 2.5 km east | Medium difficulty - total elevation gain 100 m

- Piste "Chiesetta" 2,5 km west | Medium difficulty - total altitude difference 100 m

- Piste "Campo Scuola" 1 km | difficulty easy - total altitude difference 0 m


CROSS COUNTRY SKI CENTER LAVAZÈ PASS


In this ski area alone there are 80 km of slopes with a breathtaking view of the Dolomites!

The cross-country ski trails are:

- Malga Ora 8,4 km

- Malga Costa 8,8 km

- Torbiera 5,4 km

- Campiol 4,7 km


MARCIALONGA TRAIL


The Marcialonga is the most famous cross-country skiing ever, and it is possible to experience part of the long route that passes through the characteristic villages of Val di Fiemme.

The length is 16 km and halfway you meet the cross-country skiing center of Lago di Tesero.
