FAMILY ACTIVITIES IN THE FIEMME VALLEY: HIKE TO THE DEER IN PANEVEGGIO

Are you looking for family activities in nature in Val di Fiemme? Then you can't miss the walk to the deer enclosure in the Paneveggio Nature Park in Val di Fiemme. A thrill for the whole family!

In Val di Fiemme there are many animals that live in harmony in the forest... but the undisputed king of the Dolomites remains... the deer!

They are shy and difficult to spot, but in the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park it is possible to admire them in the wild. The deer are used to humans and seek their company by spontaneously approaching the fence that separates the nature park from visitors.

These deer live in the famous violin forest (read more), where the resonance spruces that have always been coveted by violin makers all over the world grow.

Near the Paneveggio Park it is also possible to walk on the sentiero Marciò which crosses the Travignolo River over two exposed Tibetan bridges.
