There are places you simply visit, and places you truly experience.
The Val di Fiemme is one such place: a region brimming with nature, authentic flavours and moments to share.
In this article, we’ll take you on a journey to discover the unmissable spots for enjoying the sunset, with a few tips on how to make the most of the experience!
Passo Lavazè and Passo Oclini
The Lavazè Pass offers sweeping views of the Dolomites, with countless alpine meadows.
The sun sets behind the mountains, casting magnificent colours; if you fancy a bit of a walk, you can head up towards the Oclini Pass and climb the "Corno Bianco" or the "Corno Nero" for an even more expansive view.
Here you can take your heart’s content of breathtaking photographs!

The Cavalese Pagoda
If you’re staying with us, this is the perfect way to get there without taking the car. A short walk takes you to the Pagoda, one of the vantage points overlooking the village, with views of the Lagorai mountain range and the valley.
It’s a lovely 20–30-minute evening stroll to one of the most special spots in Cavalese!
And if you fancy walking a bit further, we recommend heading to the Torre della Lucianella, a little tower tucked away in a secluded grove!

Passo Rolle
The most iconic spot from which to admire the Enrosadira, the phenomenon that bathes the Dolomites in shades of pink and orange.
From here, the Cimon della Pala and the Pale di San Martino are bathed in the last rays of the setting sun. It is easily accessible by car and there are several scenic footpaths to help you find the perfect vantage point.
Ideal for photography, a romantic moment or simply a memorable sunset.
