The last ray of sunshine in winter: the golden apple of the azalea garden

Just steps from the historic center of Cavalese lies a hidden place where time seems to slow down, following the gentle rhythm of the seasons. It is the garden of our Eco-Park Hotel Azalea , a place of peace and contemplation, where summer flowers give way to the warm, enveloping colors of autumn in the Fiemme Valley.

Anyone strolling among our trees these October days will be struck by a small miracle: the old , reddish-brown apple tree , proudly stretching its branches towards the clear Trentino sky. Among the leaves defying winter, it shines: a single, golden apple , its rough skin seemingly capturing every single ray of summer sunshine and transforming it into pure sweetness.

All summer long, this apple tree listened to the laughter of children playing in the treehouse, watched guests relaxing after a hike, and breathed in the scent of wood from our organic farm. Now, as the mountain peaks around Cavalese slowly cool down, the tree gives us its last, precious gift before its long winter dormancy.

This apple is more than just a fruit; it symbolizes our philosophy. A promise of unspoiled nature, carefully preserved biodiversity, and a slower pace of life. Soon, this little golden treasure will fall from the tree and find its way into our natural kitchen, where it will be transformed into a fragrant cinnamon cake that will warm the breakfast and the hearts of our guests.
