Yellow is the colour of the sun and happiness. Visually, yellow immediately conveys a good mood.

Yellow foods are rich in carotenoids and bioflavonoids, which act as antioxidants and protect against various diseases.

Yellow peppers are rich in vitamins C and A, beta-carotene and mineral salts, have antioxidant and toning, diuretic and detoxifying properties and are an ally for a healthy cardiovascular system. Saffron is considered an excellent antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, bronchodilator and aphrodisiac.

Yellow tomatoes are rich in substances with high antioxidant activity that reduce and neutralise free radicals. They contain vitamin C, A and B vitamins, are rich in beta-carotene, water, fibre and minerals such as iron, calcium, phosphorus and potassium.

Turmeric is effective against heartburn and intestinal inflammation caused by coeliac disease or Crohn's disease; it prevents type 2 diabetes; it promotes the brain's self-healing powers in depression and Alzheimer's disease.

It also provides the body with potassium, copper, calcium, magnesium, beta-carotene, thiamine, B6 and folic acid, as well as soluble and insoluble fibre. Its greatest benefit lies in its content of the enzyme bromelain, which has a draining and anti-inflammatory effect. It also aids protein digestion.
